EXCELLENT THOUGHTS APPLICABLE THROUGHOUT OUR WHOLE LIFE

If you born poor, it's not your mistake.

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

1. Try everything twice.
On one woman's tombstone she said she wanted this epitaph:
"Tried everything twice. Loved it both times!"

2. Keep only cheerful friends.
The grouches pull you down.
(Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches!)

DON'T EVER EXPOSE YOUR DRIVING LICENSE

A mother is driving her little girl to her friend's house for a play date.
"Mommy," the little girl asks, "how old are you?"
"Honey, you are not supposed to ask a lady her age,"

the mother replied. "It's not polite."

"OK," the little girl says,
"How much do you weigh?"
"Now really," the mother says,
"those are personal questions and are really none of your business."

Undaunted, the little girl asks,

"Why did you and Daddy get a divorce?"
"That's enough questions, young lady! Honestly!"

The exasperated mother walks away as the two friends begin to play.
"My Mom won't tell me anything  about her," the little girl says to her friend.

"Well," says the friend, "all you need to do is look at her driver's license. It's like a report card, it has everything on it."

ABOUT GROWING OLDER

First ~ Eventually you will reach a point
when you stop lying about your age
and start bragging about it.

Second ~ The older we get, the fewer things
seem worth waiting in line for.

Third ~ Some people try to turn back their odometers.
Not me; I want people to know 'why' I look this way.
I've traveled a long way,
and some of the roads
weren't paved.

TOP 10 REASONS WHY PEOPLE HATE THEIR JOB

By Nataly Wind, 4 Business Networking, 09 Jan 2013

A recently published survey reveals the top 10 reasons why people hate their job. Answers range from low pay to poor management. Other reasons why people hate their work include a low chance for promotion, and even the location of the job itself.

It’s a sad reality that many people are unsatisfied with their work, and they wish that they were somewhere else, and often the wish that they were doing something else. The stress of the situation can take its toll on an individual’s mental and physical health, and can impact a person’s personal life and relationships too. Here are the top 10 reasons for job dissatisfaction:

1 - Low Pay

Workers are happier when they are paid more for their work. If you’re pouring your heart and soul into a job and receiving low pay, then you may burn out. It’s the top reason for job dissatisfaction.

2 – Job Location

Whether it’s commuting far away, or living in a city that’s not compatible with your personality or lifestyle, the location of your job has an impact on your overall job satisfaction. Many workers surveyed in the report published by The Conference Board were dissatisfied with jobs located in major cities. The happiest employees lived and work in “low-key” areas of the country.

HOW TO SECURE YOUR P1 WIMAX WIFI MODEM

By CYPHERHACKZ, SEPTEMBER 16, 2011

I have been using P1 Wimax since August 2009. Personally, it is the best Internet broadband that we have in Malaysia. For Home Plus package, the average connection speed is around 120kbps-170kbps. But there were a few times where the speed dropped to 20-50kbps, and even sometimes it disconnected abruptly.
The purpose I write this post is to help you to secure your P1 Wimax WiFi modem. It is actually very easy for unauthorized users to gain access into your P1 Wimax network if you did not change the modem default password, WEP key, and Access Control List. In this How-To guide, I will show you the step by step on how to secure your P1 Wimax WiFi modem. Let’s begin…

Change the default password

Change P1 Wimax modem default password

By default, the username and password for P1 Wimax modem is,
Username: admin
Password: admin123
Please change the default password before someone else gain access to your modem and change it for you. To do that,
  1. Go to http://10.1.1.254 by using your favourite web browser.
  2. Enter the default username, admin, and password, admin123.
  3. Click on Personalization at the top left of the page.
  4. Enter your Old Passwordadmin123, and New Password.
  5. Click Apply.
If you’ve changed the P1 Wimax modem password previously and forgot the password, you can reset it back.

POSITIVE PERSPECTIVE

Virtually nothing comes out right the first time.

Failures, repeated failures, are finger posts on the road to achievement.

The only time you don't want to fail is the last time you try something....

One fails forward toward success.

~Charles F. Kettering~

DREAM

A DREAM written down with a date becomes a GOAL.

A GOAL broken down into steps becomes a PLAN.

A PLAN backed by ACTION makes your dreams come true.

~Greg S. Reid~

SUCCESS

To laugh much;
to win respect of intelligent persons and the affections of children;

to earn the approbation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;

to appreciate beauty, find the best in others and give one's self;

to leave the world a little better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;

to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation;

to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived;

This is to have succeeded.

HOW TO CALL THE POLICE WHEN YOU'RE OLD AND DON'T MOVE FAST ANYMORE

George Phillips , an elderly man, from Meridian, Mississippi, was going up to bed, when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. George opened the back door to go turn off the light, but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.
He phoned the police, who asked "Is someone in your house?"

He said, "No, but some people are breaking into my garden shed and stealing from me."
Then the police dispatcher said, "All patrols are busy. You should lock your doors and an officer will be along when one is available."

George said, "Okay."

He hung up the phone and counted to 30...
